Innovations and new practices at Bordeaux Congress Centre
A new range of audiovisual services is now available for conference organisers
These new resources and services are being provided in response to the new practices adopted by organisers seeking solutions to digitise their events and promote greater interactivity with their attendees.
Bordeaux Congress Centre is installing new streaming equipment capable of recording conferences, presentations and activities on digital media and transmitting live feeds via several platforms (Facebook Live, Twitter Live, websites, etc.). The venue will also be equipped with a video mixing system (Ascender 48 by Analog Way) capable of 4K high-resolution broadcasting.
Bordeaux Events has decided to offer its clients an exclusive simultaneous interpretation service – Linguali Event – an innovative and economic solution for simultaneous interpretation at multilingual conferences, developed by Bordeaux start-up Linguali. This is the first simultaneous interpretation service that requires no special equipment. Interpreters can use a laptop PC or Mac computer, and participants listen to the interpreter via their iPhone or Android smartphones or on an iPad or Android tablet computer.
Information technology services will also be enhanced by a consolidated Wi-Fi network available in all parts of the Congress Centre. In addition, a new range of dynamic signage, digital devices (iPad-type tablet computers) and interactive systems (voting, surveys, etc.) is currently being developed.
