The “grands crus” of Bordeaux Events

The wine world to meet in Bordeaux

Bordeaux Events welcomes 6 flagship events from the winegrowing industry in 2017

Incontestably the world’s wine capital, Bordeaux is also the leading winegrowing region in France with almost 14,000 producers, 117,514 hectares, production of 6 million hectolitres each year and 400 trading houses that contribute to the commercialisation of 70% of Bordeaux’s wine production*.

With such a dynamic winegrowing industry and high-quality event facilities, Bordeaux is the ideal destination to organise trade and mainstream fairs dedicated to the world of wine.

This drawing power is evidenced with the hosting of 6 major events from the winegrowing industry during this 1st semester of 2017, a great line-up for Bordeaux Events.

From 17th March, the 18th Independent Winegrowers Wine Show will take over the Bordeaux Exhibition Centre over 3 days. It’s an opportunity for the general public to discover wines from independent winegrowers from all the winegrowing regions across France, but also for novices to get acquainted with tasting. More than 25,000 people are expected!

This event will be followed by the 41st edition of the International Wine Challenge on 21st and 22nd April. Over 2 mornings, nearly 5,000 wines from 37 countries will be tasted at the Bordeaux Congress Centre by more than 700 professionals and informed wine lovers.

On 20th and 21st May, a memorable event «  Grands Crus Week-End » offers to wine lovers a unique opportunity to taste more than 120 Grands Crus during two days. More than 2 000 people are expected.
