PROFESSIONAL TRADE SHOWS
Bordeaux is a prime destination for organisers of professional trade shows and corporate events
With over 50 trade shows hosted each year, half of which are for professionals, Bordeaux Events boasts solid expertise in supporting organisers. It offers a comprehensive range of services covering all logistical and technical needs.
In the beginning of 2019, Bordeaux Events hosted several impressive events, including the first edition of Architect@work, a trade show for architects with the focus on innovation, the SIDEC trade show for professionals in electrical equipment and CYCL’EAU on water management for the Adour-Garonne river basin. Our team is also preparing to host Vinexpo and Salon des Achats in May and the JoueClub event in June.
Whether it be an industrial, corporate or sectoral trade show, the events all seek to boost the economic development of an industry, company, ecosystem or territory. In providing a meeting place and an opportunity to present and monitor the latest developments, these events boost business and showcase the exhibitors’ expertise.
Hosting national and international professional trade shows therefore provides an opportunity to increase the exposure of the Metropolitan area and its economic potential. Participants take advantage of the event to discover the region, its infrastructures and talents.
Professional trade shows are continuing to grow. They remain one of the best marketing tools for companies. Bordeaux Events therefore intends to increase its market share in this segment and in doing so further enhance the region’s image.
Bordeaux and the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, with 11 competitiveness clusters and numerous highly-specialised sectors, are an extremely attractive option for organisers. A long list of strategic and commercial interests motivates manufacturers and industries in their choice of the Bordeaux region, including the aeronautics, pharmaceutical, construction, agri-food and cosmetics industries.
In addition, the general appeal of Bordeaux and its accessibility make it a prime destination for organisers, whose priority remains the visitors, the true key to a successful event.
