A range of wines to represent Bordeaux as a destination
Bordeaux Events has been charmed by Le Diplomate, a young brand whose ambition is to promote Bordeaux as a destination through its range of wines
Two young people from Bordeaux, Quentin Vallet and Antoine Sottas, launched their wine brand, Le Diplomate, in 2015.
Promoting the destination by featuring Bordeaux’s monuments on the round labels for the range of wines (one red, one white and one rosé), all produced in the Bordeaux vineyards.
Available in some 20 sales outlets, Le Diplomate wines are aimed at those passing through the region and visitors in search of a souvenir to bring back in their suitcases; a product which tells a story.
“We’re both very attached to our city and its treasures, so we wanted to help others discover its different aspects by creating a range which showcases the most iconic features of the region: wine and the city itself” explains Antoine Sottas.
In order to back their commitment to the preservation and restoration of historic monuments in the Bordeaux region, the two founders of the Le Diplomate brand have chosen to donate €0.10 of the proceeds to the Heritage Foundation for every bottle of wine sold.
